Upon reaching Kandy, we'll check into our hotel and take a short break to unwind. From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we'll have the opportunity to witness a captivating cultural dancing program. After a fulfilling day, we'll return to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

After a hearty breakfast at our hotel in Kandy, we'll set off for Sigiriya, a journey of approximately 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, we'll check into our hotel and take a brief respite. Later, we'll immerse ourselves in the local culture with a traditional village tour, offering insights into rural life in Sri Lanka.
In the evening, at 4:00 PM, we'll embark on a fascinating ascent of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, renowned as the 8th wonder of the world. Built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D., this rock fortress served as a royal citadel for over 18 years. Marvel at the renowned frescoes nestled in a sheltered pocket, accessible via a spiral stairway. At the summit, spread over nearly one hectare, lies the palace, while the outer wall was ingeniously constructed on the brink of a precipice. Thanks to the efforts of the UNESCO-sponsored Central Cultural Fund, the 5th-century water gardens of Sigiriya have been meticulously restored to their former splendor.
